Ever since they started, I wanted to order a box of cream puffs from Puff Parlor, run by my friend Akiko, and her thesis group mates in Ateneo. I’m a sucker for anything creamy or custard-y, so I obliged myself to try their goods. But as luck would have it, we couldn’t find the time to meet up, even though we live in the same area, and study in universities an avenue apart.

Last Thursday (was it?) she messaged me and told me she’s coming over to give me the cream puffs. <3 When she arrived she was holding my box of sin under one arm, and her mom’s Cappuccino, a chihuahua, in the other! Pucci’s so cute! I had to play with it!

And then finally I got to taste the cream puffs! They were absolutely delicious. It had just the right amount of vanilla, and the right amount of sweetness. The cream wasn’t heavy, it was something you’d want to eat repeatedly. I couldn’t judge the crust though. I had mine refrigerated at Kiko’s before she went over, so it got a little flat. Nonetheless, it was a nice treat. Me and my sister finished it in a day. :)
