Finally!
Iris went to Anilao for the long weekend and stayed at our room in Janao Bay. We spent the whole four days there, but were unable to windsurf or kayak because of the bad weather. Although the sun shined for two days, the first two were terrible. Nonetheless, we swam amongst swells and pouring rain. AH. bonding.
Apparently, new friendships are built on losing our way at night, midnight snacks, myth analogies, and three nights of booze, and it should be. The trip wasn’t ideal. The planning wasn’t tip-top. But the company and light-heartedness of the group yanked all the negatives aside.
I’ve just been getting close to Iris but it feels like years ago that I’ve been friends with these guys. :)
